1. Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on our website www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk which is owned, managed and operated by Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd. By placing an order, you are agreeing that ‘You’ the customer are accepting our Terms and Conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected.

2. General Conditions of Sale

You must be over the legal age of 18. By purchasing from www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk you are entering into a contract with Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd. The contract is an agreement for you to purchase and for us to supply the goods in line with our Terms and Conditions.

3. Returns and Refunds

All Sliding Wardrobe doors ordered on www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk or with Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd are made to the customer’s specifications and sizes. As these are a bespoke item, for this reason they cannot be returned or refunded.
All standard liners, end panels, interiors and hanging rails can be returned at the customers expense or a £80 collection fee, in addition there will be a 20% handling and re stocking charge. All items must still be in the original packaging, unopened and undamaged with no parts missing. Any bespoke liners, end panels, interiors and hanging rails can not be retuned under any circumstances for a refund.

4. Website Images

The colours of the images on www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk may vary slightly to the finished product. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd strongly recommend purchasing samples of profiles, glass and Egger board. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd hold no responsibility and are not liable for any colour discrepancies if samples have not been purchased by the customer.

5. Payments

Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd can make any adjustments to any advertised price whether or not an order has been confirmed. Payment is required at placement of order; we accept all major credit and debit cards apart from American Express. We also accept payments via PayPal. Orders can be placed via e-mail, if so a proforma invoice can be issued and payment is required before the order is sent to manufacture.
All advertised prices are inclusive of local taxes and delivery. Sliding Wardrobes Ltd reserve the right to remove any goods or services without prior notice.If an order has been placed for these said goods or services a refund will be issued.

6. Delivery

Delivery will be arranged by Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd and a mutual delivery date will be agreed by us and the customer. We aim to deliver within 4 weeks of placement of order but on occasions the lead time for delivery can be longer and ‘You’ the customer will be notified. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd cannot be held liable for any delayed deliveries.
On the day of delivery, we are unable to specify a delivery time. If for any reason you are not able to receive the delivery on the day agreed, the goods will be returned to the factory, and you will be charged £90 for a rescheduled delivery date. In the rare event that we have to delay the delivery on the day. You will be notified at the earliest opportunity, and we will reschedule a new delivery date free of charge.
The delivery is a kerbside delivery. The goods will be carried to the threshold of the property and at that point they are the customers responsibility. Under no circumstances do we offer a room of choice due to public liability insurance.
It is the customers responsibility to notify Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd of any difficulties accessing the threshold of the property which could affect the health and safety of the delivery drivers.
All goods must be signed for by the customer and we do not accept third party signatures or unchecked. It is the customers responsibility to check for shortages and damage. 


While we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered on time. Delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for, and will not provide compensation or cover any costs, losses, or damages arising from late or delayed deliveries.

7. Damages and missing goods

It is the customers responsibility to check the goods for any damages and or missing parts / components withing 24 hours from delivery. All packaging and wrapping must be kept and photos taken of the damaged area. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd accept no responsibility for damage caused by the customer moving the goods from room to room or damage incurring on installation.

8. Website

The content of the pages of www,slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk is for Your general information and use only and is subject to change without notice. Neither We nor any third parties provide any guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the visuals, materials and information found or offered on www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk for any particular purpose. This includes the appearance of colours, textures, finishes, shapes, designs or scaling relating to any of the photos, images, sketches, descriptions or visual two and three dimensional graphics rendered in any browser and displayed on any screen or device. You acknowledge that such visuals, materials and information may contain inconsistencies, inaccuracies or errors and although every effort shall be made by Us to ensure visuals, materials and information displayed on www,slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk are a true representation of the physical item being designed, viewed or purchased. We expressly reject any liability for any such differences, inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of any information or materials on www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk is entirely at Your own risk, for which We shall not be liable. It shall be Your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through www.slidingwardrobes2u.co.uk meets Your specific requirements and expectations.

9. Variations

You have the right before Delivery, to request a change including cancellation of the Goods purchased and We reserve the right to refuse these changes as the Goods are normally custom made to measure. If changes are agreed between You and Us which will cause an increase to the Price of the Goods then We will advise You through a revised Quotation and Invoice or other written communication and We are to receive the necessary balancing Payment before The Contract and Delivery are progressed further. If changes are agreed between You and Us which will cause a reduction to the Price of the Goods, then We will advise You through a revised Quotation and Invoice or other written communication and the relevant over-payment agreed by Us will be returned to You within five working days of the agreed change. Each agreed change to the Goods once Payment has been received by Us is to have precedence over any earlier Quotation or Invoice.

10. Cancellations

Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd reserve the right at any time to cancel any orders placed without reason and a full refund will be issued to ‘You’ the customer.
Once an order is placed by ‘You’ the customer with Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd. You will have 24 hours to cancel or make any changes to the order. After this time no changes can be made as the order will be in production as they are bespoke to ‘You’ the customer.

11. Measuring

We at Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd will work to the measurements supplied at point of purchase by ‘You’ the customer. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd work to the finished aperture size and it is the customers responsibility to subtract all liners. If ‘You’ the customer supplies incorrect sizes to Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd we will not accept any liability.

12. Returns

Here at Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd we cannot accept any returns if the customer has supplied incorrect information. All orders are bespoke to you the customer.

13. Warranty

All goods ordered are covered by a two-year warranty on all moving parts and materials. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by moving the goods after they have been delivered and inspected. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by installation / fitting.
To make a claim under our warranty terms, Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd must be notified in writing with accompanying pictures. If the goods need to be returned to Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd for inspection ‘You’ the customer will be responsible for the cost of packaging and shipping of the goods to be returned. Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd can arrange collection at a cost of £95, this will be reimbursed if the warranty claim is upheld. All Warranty decisions by Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd are final.
The warranty does not cover any swelling due to intake of excessive moisture or any other neglect or over loading of shelves or interiors (This does not affect your statutory rights).

14. Installation

We do not undertake installation services. We will not be held responsible or accept any liability in any way for any costs, damages or injury caused during the installation or caused by the 3rd Party.

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable to any party or deemed to be in breach of The Contract by reason of any delay or failure to perform any of Our obligations in relation to The Contract, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Our reasonable control, including (without limitation) any strike, lockout or other labour dispute, adverse weather conditions, travel delays and mechanical breakdowns, failure of power supplies, war, act of hostile forces, epidemic or pandemic, civil disturbance, extensive disruption of public services or other events or circumstances outside Our reasonable control.

16. The Company’s Liability

The company shall under no circumstances whatsoever be liable for any indirect or consequential loss however caused. The Company’s liability in respect of breach or non-performance shall be limited to the invoice value to which the claim relates. Goods are sold under a consumer transaction as defined by the consumer transactions order 1976.
Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd reserve the right to make changes to the website and its terms and conditions without prior notice.
Should your order be delayed, you will be notified at the earliest opportunity.

17. Limitation of Liability

The following provisions set out the entire financial liability of Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents and sub-contractors) to You in respect of any failure to supply Goods without reasonable care and skill, any breach of the conditions, any representation, statement or tortuous act or omission including negligence arising under or in connection with The Contract.i) Except as set out explicitly in the conditions, all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from The Contract. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits the liability of Us for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence, for any matter which it would be illegal for Us to exclude or attempt to exclude Our liability or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.ii) Our total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of The Contract shall be limited to the Price only and We shall not be liable to You or any party for any pure economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise, in each case whether direct, indirect or consequential and any claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with The Contract.iii) This Clause (15) shall survive termination of The Contract.

18. Additional Rights

The following provisions set out additional rights under this agreement,i) Any failure by Us to enforce any or all of these conditions shall not amount to, or be interpreted as, a waiver of any of Our rights or of the right at any time subsequently to enforce all conditions of these Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd Conditions of Sale.ii) If any term in these Sliding Wardrobes 2U General Conditions of Sale is held invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms.iii) All rights granted to Us shall be cumulative and no exercise by You or Us of any right under The Contract shall restrict or prejudice the exercise of any other right granted by The Contract or otherwise available to it.iv) The Contract and all rights under it cannot transferred  to a  sub-contracter.v) The headings in these conditions are for reference purposes only and shall not affect the interpretation of these conditions.vi) Any person who is not a party to The Contract has no rights under The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of the conditions.

19. Intellectual Property

All images and content remain the property of Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd and under no circumstances are to be used or copied without the permission of Sliding Wardrobes 2U Ltd.

20. Confidentiality

Any information about Us communicated to You in connection with The Contract shall be used for the sole purpose of carrying out The Contract, shall be kept confidential and shall not be published or disclosed to any third party without written consent by Us on an authorised headed document.
